Sunday: #InternationalDayOfTheDandelion

Rain started around 4am this morning and continued until well after breakfast, the garden is much happier now … and so am I … :-))
We had some warm sunshine too, temperature around 20°C … and some cloud.
I spent the morning reading and I made a “Pasta al forno” to go into the bottom of the oven as I cooked MrD a “turkey dinner” for this evening with roast potato wedges instead of mash, finishing off the sack of potatoes bought beginning of January - very economical :-))
It’s dandelion day but all my dandelions flowered weeks ago and these in today’s Blip are the last of them, there’s a bonus too of an orange Welsh Poppy (meconopsis cambrica) which I always look forward to.
Last day of April … Mayday tomorrow … a third of this year has already gone, don’t believe it …!!
