Howes of Quoyawa

It was reported that Ulysses said to Polyphemus ‘partir, c’est mourir un peu’.  At the time, it would have been sweetly apt if he’d been on the Hoy Pier.  But, as things go, this was a view from the said pier today.  The crofts of Newstead and the White Glen are still used.  CMC is embroidering my smoking jacket as I endeavour to keep calm.
