Portobello

Sunshine in the morning. Early cycle ride by the Meadows to national cycle route 1, past Duddingston loch as far as Brunstane, from there to the beach. Watched the rowers also out early. 
Stopped again at the Beach House for coffee and the first ice cream of the year. (in extra). Back by Seafield and the Restalrig railway path. A good ride with very little street cycling. 

The sun and the west wind was a tease for summer; by midday the wind turned to come from the East, there was a heavy shower, and the rest of the day was grey, overcast, and cool.
