Hanging on...

Life has suddenly become even busier, with the start of the field season. I spent the afternoon training a number of keen young ecologists who want to develop their botanical skills - the first of a series of sessions which will hopefully enable them to take their FISC in 2024.

This is a quick evening shot of one of the many Hairy-footed Flower bees which have frequented the garden this spring, hanging on to the flower of a splendid self-seeded Lungwort.
