Orange Tip

Today's the day ........................ for a butterfly

I saw what was really my first butterfly of the year today - and by that, I mean it stayed around long enough for me to take a picture of it.  The fact that it was an Orange Tip, one of my most favourite butterflies, just added to the excitement.  

It landed on some forget-me-nots and just seemed to bask in the sunshine for quite a while.  Then it took off and went on its way - leaving me feeling very blessed that it had shared some time with me .....................!
