Diary of an Edinburgher

The Crochet Bomber Strikes Again!

JR walked to the gym this morning, though she's still not doing 'burpees' - dizziness when bobbing up and down.

The house was rather quiet this morning, with no Archie around. But I've had several photos during the day of Archie lying beside his new sitter, with his head in her lap, or Archie enjoying a big walk in the fields, off lead. All good! And once he had his bed in their bedroom last night, he settled down. So it's all going well.

It's been SO COLD again, but I walked up to get my pill supply, and to see this, the Coronation Crochet Post Box. Fabulous! Check out the coach and a beefeater. (Extra)

We decided to walk across to Bruntsfield for lunch - haven't been to Monty's for ages. We then walked down to Left Field, a wee local restaurant with a very good reputation, and booked dinner for when a friend is here later in the month.

In the afternoon, I decided to cut the grass. I can see that the weather is not too promising over the weekend, in fact for weeks to come. And while we had that cold wind again, it was dry and sunny in the back garden.

I was having a wee rest after that activity, when JR mentioned again that I should perhaps think of getting my wardrobe organised a bit. I surprised myself by suddenly springing into action. And yes, I spent a good hour trying things on with other things, and deciding what to bring. Supervised by JR, of course. Might get the cases out tomorrow and see if I can fit it all in.

A slight hiccup in the travel arrangements has been ironed out. Our plane arrives in Athens in the evening, so we have to go the day before the ship leaves, which means an extra night in a hotel. All sorted.
