Today's the day ..................... to relax

Even though it's almost ten years since I was in gainful employment, there's still something special about this time on a Friday afternoon.

The working week is at an end and the weekend is upon us.  It's a time to have a glass of something nice in your hand, something to nibble (preferably including crisps) and just to relax.  Throw in the fact that it's a lovely balmy evening here and Will is cooking supper - and life seems pretty good.  

What's more - despite the fact that probably a large percentage of the British population will be pulling out all the stops to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, we will be taking it very easy all weekend.  And that, of course, is just the way I like it .........................!
