Fighting my demons...
I'm sorry. It was a beautiful day and I took so many pictures, it was impossible to decide which to have - people swimming in the sea, swans, seagulls, kites in the shape of legs, Greenan Castle, Ayr Brewing Company fair stall, loads of people, an ambulance/first aid van or kids having a whale of a time on a scary bouncy slide OR a really exciting one - man weeing behind a bush!
I have decided on just one shot in the beautiful gardens by the Belleisle Park and Golf Course where there was a fair on today. There were little stalls everywhere and people having fun.
I was fighting my demons as I insisted on walking to the Secret Garden cafe for lunch on the Doonfoot Road and then sitting on the very same wall I'd sat on waiting for the ambulance to fetch me at the beginning of March after a similar long walk. The Grim Reaper didn't appear although I felt a slight fluttering and nerves in the pit of my stomach. I know it sounds a bit silly but I'd been putting off that walk despite the fact it is so nice. The mind is a terrible thing. I proved I could do it anyway despite that apprehensive feeling. I shall do it again early in the week.
Track? My favourite track from the Rolling Stones for no good reason at all - Paint It Black
