Anticipation

Noah was a mixture of nervous and excited when he left for the airport early this morning. I went back to bed and he gave me helpful text updates of his every movement and boredom level until he actually got on the plane at which point excitement took over. He arrived safely, has made some friends and is having a great time already.

I kept myself busy with sewing, housework and some weeding in the garden throughout the day then did some knitting whilst watching telly with Freya ahead of her departure in the morning. She leaves at 9.30 in the morning so at least it's not another early start.
