Holy Cow!

What started out as a quiet day at home ended with a bang! But first...

The Cows Came Home!  And that was a treat. We went for our usual walk down the lane, always on the lookout for wildlife..and hoping for cows...We often see them in distant pastures and have noted that they move about from one field to another..but there are four who do not seem to be part of the herd...and if we are lucky, they meander up to the fence along the lane when we are out with our cameras..We had not seen them for a while and figured that they had found greener pastures..but there they were! Posing for photos...

and then.. 

The War on Bugs broke out! Ants had invaded our indoor space. And that was not a treat...My sister took it upon herself to declare war on them and spent the afternoon putting out ant traps and monitoring every nook and cranny for more of them...the battle was on...

AND ..at last, the highlight of the day!...drum roll...

The Wifi Came On! Let the bells ring out; let the banners fly..We are online! Let the fun begin...Mr. Google is at our fingertips again..an answer for any and every question! Background information for historic sites, maps, hours of openings and closings, news from home, emails to friends..and Blip available at last...I can now use Translate, and work on my photo book in the evenings...and even read an ebook!
