Railway

We’ve been on a quick trip Down South to see our son and his girlfriend and for Fiona to see her optician following her cataract operation. We’ve gone to the same optician for well over 35 years and despite moving 300 miles away we still go back. In the town where he practices there is a preserved railway, the Dean Forest Railway which runs through Lydney in Gloucestershire. It just so happened that we were there when they were running steam trains and I took these blips. You can see it crosses a main road in the town as it leaves the station and the gates are operated by two of the volunteers.
