Extra day

We hadnt planned to stay last night with my parents, but very much enjoyed the extra night. We had a leisurely start with them, playing and drawing and pottering before we got a train to Bridlington to see the Harts. Katie and Jaden are utterly adorable together. They just love each other. They played with the animals, they played piano, they played basketball, they played climb on the inflatable basketball hoop.

After a lovely relaxed lunch we headed out to check out a wedding venue for Victoria. We had fun pretending weddings "try this, how about this" and substituting children for bridesmaids, husband for groom (and bride), cameras for bouquets. Katie had fun trying to photo bomb as many practice pictures as she fancied. The church was very pretty. She fell asleep on the way back so going to the park as planned didnt happen.

The three children had fun baking buns (and using an awful lot of expensive vanilla extract), more using the basketball hoop to bounce on, more piano playing, and eating lots of cake when cooked. A very fun day with friends!!
