All at sea

Day 5: A sea day. We woke losing another hour, to a very foggy scene. After breakfast we walked around the deck with the accompaniment of the ships foghorn. After coffee we went to a talk on The Story of ABBA. A fascinating background to all their hits. We will follow this up with a visit to The ABBA museum in Stockholm later this week. Before lunch I headed to the ship’s book group then after lunch P went to the singing group and I to a talk on Nordic wildlife with a BBC wildlife producer. Our last ‘enrichment’ activity was an interesting talk on Nordic Noir fiction, perfect for an afternoon on a foggy sea with the moody horn blowing! On the evening we ate at one of the speciality restaurants on board. Vasco’s is Goan/Indian and the food was delicious, one of the best Indian meals I have ever eaten!
