Eight cygnets one Mother Swan.

The Feast Day of St. Pascal Baylon. Also, St. Madron.

I went out to see the swans early this morning, but the parent swans had taken the cygnets under the boarding of the tow path and they were not easy to photo.
So between doing washing and de cluttering, I went out this afternoon and I was delighted to see the whole swan family gliding up the centre of the canal near High Street bridge.  They looked so well behaved, and like a school outing! There were two narrowboats moored by the  Canal side cafe and because it is sunny and mild, 14c, the cafe owner was doing good trade in snacks and tea and coffee.
