Kotka sculpture trail

We should have been in St Petersburg today but for obvious reasons are not!
Therefore Balmoral made its maiden landing in Kotka, Finland to beautiful blue skies and a fresh 10 degrees, where they welcomed us with a marching band. We decided to follow the award winning park trail. (6 miles)
This took us along the sculpture promenade to a number of parks including the herb garden, the Sibelius park, Katariina Seaside Park and the Water Garden. It was all very green, calm and beautiful. We stopped off for an ice cream at the coast before heading back to the ship for lunch and a relaxed afternoon.
