Small Blue

A new species for me today.  I have never before seen and photographed the Small Blue butterfly Cupido Minimus and I didn't realise that they could be found in Cumbria.  The underwing can be seen in the extra.  There were also some Common Blue butterflies about which looked so big in comparison with this tiddler!  I found these on the grassy slopes beneath the waste tip mountains from the old Barrow ironworks.
