Removal Day

The big day finally arrived and was remarkably stress-free, due to the hard work of this pair and, I think, to all the preparations I had made in advance.

Peter, on the left, and Stoycho, his assistant, worked like Trojans - see extra - and thoroughly deserved their cuppa and shortbread halfway through the job. This was a small job for them and they were finished after an hour. Sometimes they need a team of 15!

I had plenty time to clean and hoover throughout before Lulabel arrived to help transport the remaining bags, boxes and aforementioned hoover into Glasgow.

Since I'm not due to move into my new flat for another week, I am now staying with D#1 for a few days before visiting bestie Gill in Troon at the weekend.
