Souroch

"Sour" was quite a challenge today! I like my shots to be interesting and I'm not sure it's possible to make a sorrel leaf look interesting but I tried! I like cooking things you find anywhere in nature and in one of my favourite books "Seaweed and eat it - a family foraging and cooking adventure" I found a recipe for sorrel (called souroch in Orkney and popular with the kids who usually eat it right out of the fields..) and cucumber soup, so I went foraging and it was delicious. Souroch's sour, as its name says :)
