Day Surgery

I dropped Mr W off at the hospital at 6.40am as he was booked in for a sphenoethmoidectomy!!

A what???

He calls it having your sinuses drilled!

I had Jasper forctge morning then had a phone call to say Mr W would be ready to be collected at 2. 30 but when I got there, I was told he wasn't quite ready as he was in pain and couldn't pee so I sat looking at this sign for another 2 hours!!

I had to move away from 2 moaning women, top my car up with car park money and wait patiently for my patient.

He looked rough! His face was all swollen and he smelt like anaesthetic!!

I got him home and tried to send him to bed but he insisted on getting some work done. He managed a small dinner and looked a bit better by bedtime!
