A walk up Blencathra
Ok so the forecast on Sunday evening for Monday was for cloud but sunny intervals and then even more sun by the end of the day...great the MET Office must be right this time with all there new fangled technology costing millions of pounds???
NO they were wrong...AGAIN!!
Overcast and foggy with not a hint of clearing all day.
We headed up Blencathra...or is it Saddleback (I will let you decide on the name) - our annual jont up the hills in the lake district - and after much moaning (before Lunch) and then excitement (after lunch) we eventually reached the top - still foggy!
Ahh well the joys of the lake district - still a great day on the fells and since I decided not to put a shot of the view from the top (a very grey and misty scene), I decided to shoot and show you this waterfall which we passed a few hours earlier on route to the summit - before lunch and just before the grumblings started!!
