Disturbance

‘Very disturbance’, stated a colleague whilst we were at Dar es Salaam airport dealing with flight confusion. Very true, as over the weekend we’d already been rescheduled by three hours. This time we boarded and deplaned due to a technical fault, and were told to wait for three more hours. Then we almost missed the hasty reboarding as it was announced in muffled Swahili.

Eventually we arrived in Songea in southern Tanzania for a week of evaluation and planning meetings. We still had time for a good chunk of work, in a room next to this relaxing pool scene. By sunset we were all washed out, but resisted falling into the pool in favour of food and bed.
