Hump day

Today is my mums (see extra) heavenly birthday - she would have been 88, so special thoughts of her today, still miss her.

Decided to have my cycle this morning, didn’t feel like it but made myself get motivated. Did a slightly different route again, getting a bit lost in one of our neighbouring estates (Bracknell has the most wonderful cycle paths, don’t need to go on the roads, but some signs have worn or changed …). Stopped off half way at a lake opposite South Hill Park, saw 8 little ducklings swimming with their mummy). Continued on to home - did around 5.5 miles, was out for about an hour and pushed myself NOT to get off and walk but to use the gears (I’m old school, when I was young you just got on the bike and cycled, didn’t fiddle with gears).

Admin this afternoon, trying to understand HMRC (why say one word when you can say 10!) and sorting out AJs tax. Will involve another phone call to them and more searching for paperwork.
