Yellowhammer.

Well we went for a countryside walk today from Nethybridge to Granton on Spey. This is part of the Speyside Way. The whole walk goes from Aviemore in Speyside to Fochabers in Morayshire.
We went with two friends and the stretch we did was
6.8 miles long. We ended up having a late well deserved lunch in a beautiful cafe and bakery in Granton on Spey. While on the walk we saw various bird species, with Curlews, Chaffinches, Siskins, Spotted Flycatcher, Grey Wagtail, Swallows and Yellowhammers. I liked this Yellowhammer as he sat long enough in a tree to let me fire off a few shots. So my blip after a tired journey and back home to a nice cup of tea, is the cute Yellowhammer!
