Surprise!

I went to see the Ospreys this morning, I think i caught sight of the female on the nest with the binoculars and the male wasn't about, so I decided to move back to the track from the undergrowth and I heard a rustling of the dried leaves in front of me. Then lo and behold, to my surprise I spotted this Roe Buck.
I think he was surprised to see me as much as I him. He froze long enough to get a couple of photos of him looking at me, then he was gone. So it turned out a lucky morning after all. I had to lighten this picture a bit, because the undergrowth was rather dark!
