Papaver

Despite the sunshine outside I spent the morning on the laptop before heading (again) to the dentist as a filling in a central incisor had come away. All sorted without injection so was able to spend sometime in the garden after a busy day travelling yesterday. So much time spent driving and cuddling that for the second time in nearly 3 years I failed to reach my daily 10k step target (by 800 steps,)

These poppies (papaver) came from my godmother’s garden and provide a lovely splash of colour at this time of the year.
