Pushed For Time

Rugby club day, two weeks to the Sea Shanty Festival when the town will be bustling with people and the streets full of pirates moving from pub to pub with music at almost every venue.
Eighty-six of the revellers will be camping at the rugby ground, when I say camping my assumption would be motor homes not tents, pitched on the playing surface, but with information at the club compartmentalised I’m probably wrong.
The work continues to get the facilities ready for both campers and as a Sea Shanty venue. Solar lights above every external door, emergency lights installed and tested along with signage.
Then there is the work required to be ready for the coming season, pre-season friendlies are already booked so those dates provide our deadline.
Mrs S enjoyed a day in the garden before we had an early evening salad in the garden.

The view out over the harbour, filling a little as the participants of AZAB (2023 Azores & Back) gather for the ‘off’ on Saturday
