Diwrnod yn swyddfa'r gangen ~ A day at the branch office
“There is a meaning of trees, a meaning to the hugely interconnected living world that cares little for human meaning. If we don’t understand & accommodate that meaning, ours will come to very little. Awe & wonder are the first tools in turning to that meaning.”
― Richard Powers

Treuliais i ddiwrnod yn yr haul poeth yn deintio i ffwrdd a'r goeden ffynidwydd. Roeddwn i'n defnyddio ysgol hir a llif ar bolyn i gyrraedd y canghennau uchel. Roeddwn i'n llwyddiannus yn torri allan llawer mwy o bren, gan gynnwys cangen mawr iawn (neu foncyff bach - yn dibynnu ar sut rydych chi'n edrych arno). Os rydw i'n gallu cyrraedd digon uchel, rydw i'm mynd i geisio cymryd y top oddi ar y goeden yfory.

I spent a day in the hot sun nibbling away at the fir tree. I used a long ladder and saw on a pole to reach the high branches. I was successful in cutting out a lot more wood, including a very large branch (or small log - depending on how you look at it). If I can get high enough, I'm going to try to take the top off the tree tomorrow.
