Words

I love words and follow a couple of people on Insta - this popped up today on a list of Old English words.  Sums up my early morning waking!

Today OH met No.1 at the RM.  She had an appointment at 9.40 and they were in and out in just over an hour!  A record.  They were planning on having brunch but it was a bit early to go to Godstone where they had planned to eat, so drove back closer to home and visited a local tea shop for eggs and avocado (although the poacher had already been washed up so OH had to make do with fried eggs!).  

I spent the morning have a dust and hoover and changing sheets (all dry and ironed in one day).  They were home around 2.30 so we sat in the garden enjoying the sunshine.  We watched a scrap between a crow and baby magpie and think the magpie came off worse as he was huddled under a plant unable to fly.  We gave him some water and positive vibes and OH moved him under the hedge but think his days may be numbered?
