Another canal view

Nothing much to report today so here’s a bird related update. Yesterday I saw what I thought were two oystercatcher chicks on some grass beside the primary school. Today I saw the same birds closer up on a grass verge, and thought that one of them was an adult. They will be digging for worms. This looks good to me.
   Also today I saw a gull chick on the ground, but it is reasonably mature and I would think it will be okay if the parent bird feeds it. I’ve never once been swooped on by a gull this year, even when I accidentally disturbed this chick.
   Late News: One has been test flying one's glider. Just in the flat. Need to get it aerodynamic. (See extra shot.)
