Work today, followed by food shopping. An Italian week at Lidl doubled the grocery bill :-)

When I arrived home, D was painting in the garden. There had been a special offer on emulsion at Wickes last week so he had sent me to get lots of different colours. This lovely yellow is a shade called "Saffron". A bright green was called "Optimism"!

I had a walk around the fields and woods before making the tea. Most of the fields above our house are being used to grow grass for silage so I carefully kept to the edges.

Tonight we are going to watch the first half of "Cinema Paradiso" which I've somehow never seen.
