ragged
I remember a friend being shocked by my one-time revelation that I probably spend two hours a day gardening in the summer months. That was then. Now I could shock her even more, but the difference between us is that Ifor me, it's a pleasure. For her, it was a chore.
There are times, however, when you can have too much of a good thing. So I thought I'd go for a walk this afternoon in Glenkiln. I've not been up there for a while and I was very happy to see the verges bursting with wildflowers - foxglove, thistle, yellow rattle, orchids... and higher up, this pretty ragged robin. I didn't meet anyone else up there. It was a very healing walk :-)
