Abstract Thursday: Macro Abstract

It's been a beautiful sunny day, although with rather more of a chill in the wind than one expects in Cheshire in June. We're not complaining though - we had a lovely walk in Tegsnose Country Park where we spotted a Wall Brown butterfly, which provided a useful subject for today's AT challenge (thanks as always to Ingeborg for hosting). We met and chatted to a chap who surveys butterflies for the county of Cheshire and he said that Tegsnose is his favourite place for them.

The extra shows a couple of other macro shots - a grasshopper (I think) and a lovely damselfly enjoying the sun.
