Flower meadow at Hampton Court

The flowers that were planted at Hampton Court last year are now flowering again…lots of poppies both red and orange plus lots of cornflowers etc. I was not sure they would be as good this year as the area was mowed in the autumn and the ice rink was on this area over the Christmas period. Apparently the ones in the Tower of a London moat are flowering well again too…I may go and take a look one day.

This was taken on an early cycle ride around 9.30 am before it got too hot.

Very humid today so we tried out our AC units as may need them on for a while this week if temperatures continue to rise. Have not needed them before now this year.

Watching the tennis again this afternoon mens from a Surbiton and the women’s final in France.
