Downtown Totterdown

The area where I live is Totterdown, pretty much all small Victorian terraced houses.  Down the hill from me is a tiny downtown area with a few shops - a baker, a greengrocer, a pub, the ubiquitous Tesco express, and an Italian restaurant      (pizza and pasta) with outside tables. I met a friend there for lunch, we sat in the sunshine, and it was just this side of too hot. Across the road is this house, and I thought it was looking lovely, with its smart paint and its spectacular palm tree.
Also today I murdered black fly with washing up liquid  - they had decided to invade my broad beans in huge numbers. And I moved A and another carload of his things over to the north of the city. Oh and a lot of watering of course.
