Summertime….

Summertime and the livin’ is easy! The heatwave continued today and keeping cool by double dooking at 7am and 6pm was the answer. This blip was taken at 6pm with some of the ‘Selkies at the finish of our swim.

In between swims, I bussed through to Kirkwall and had a coffee at Lolz café, meeting up with people I saw last year. There was only one cruise ship in Kirkwall but the bendy buses were busy ferrying people hither and thither to historical sites leaving fewer people stravaiging the streets.

I also had a short interlude in the garden but with little shade I didn’t last very long in the searing sun. It now seems light years away from the seemingly endless months of feeling permanently cold indoors and out doors.
