Else on the Ring

Trip to the shops to look at various kitchen options. I think we will find something when the time comes. On the way, just as we got to our local S Bahn stop steam loco 52 8177-9 AKA Else came past. There are regular steam hauled rail trips on the ring. This is the first time I saw one go past. The steam loco was built in 1944 and used in East Berlin to haul goods until 1991. It is now part of the local railway museum. Really cool to have these trundling around. Today's extra is bunch of firebugs so many of them around at the moment.
