Storm

Humidity was rising on our early morning dog walk.  I've  been inside much of the day apart from feeding my neighbour's cats and taking the hound in the garden.

Robert, our plumber came this afternoon.  Poor chap has had a tough time, getting covid, losing his mother and now experiencing anxiety.  We had a chat about his wish to attain a good work-life balance.  After he'd finished his work he expressed appreciation for sticking with him.  His business and workers have been so pleasant, diligent and considerate when they fix things for us and don't just write a bill with too many zeros.

The rain, thunder and lightning arrived with Robert.  And now at nearly 9pm it's still raining but in a gentle manner.  It feels like a humid night ahead though.

Window unsticker for the kitchen comes tomorrow afternoon.  Being able to open more windows will be very welcome.
