Fish hatch

I teared up at the news that Caroline Lucas will stand down at the next election. We desperately need people like her in public life against the general torrent of evasive narcissists. She is a force of nature, dogged and always standing up for what’s right. She has been hogging the backbone that many others appear not to be acquainted with.

The process of getting food in the evening was also almost worthy of tears. This is us negotiating at a restaurant a short walk down the beach. Around three hours later we finally received some plates of fodder, by which time we would have been happy to forego dinner for bed. We wolfed it down and then retreated for some downtime.
