Making connections!

A couple of weeks ago I managed to cut through the satellite cable when I was removing a dead honeysuckle from our wall. Bizarrely, most of the channels still worked, including my husband’s beloved Netflix, Prime and Disney+, so I wasn’t in too much trouble but I still can’t believe I did that!

I was hoping beyond hope that it could be fixed by just reconnecting the two severed ends, which is exactly what was the case. All done in five minutes this morning, for the price of a call-out plus £5 for the part - phew!

Although the engineer lives miles away, his brother used to own one of the huge mansions round the corner from us and was the pilot who we often watched land his helicopter in the field at the bottom of our garden!
