Winchester to Exton

This  morning, we were taken  by minibus back to - Winchester!
We weren't there long as we had a thirteen mile walk  to complete, and we didn't start until walking until 10.30am. We followed the waymarked South Downs Way trail via  Chilcomb, Cheesefoot Head, Holden Farm, Telegraph Hill, Beacon Hill and then  down into Exton. The conditions were perfect : no rain and not too hot, with good visibility affording great views towards the Isle of Wight. Here is the group on the final leg into Exton,  where the path took us through a field of broad beans. We were very relieved to see our bus waiting for us, and  R, our driver, whisked us back to Abingworth.
