Dull Simmer Dim

A dull, rainy, misty and breezy day.  Rains finally eased in the afternoon, and mist lifting tonight. 

Up early, and popped by mam's for a cuppa before work.  A day shift in the airport.  I was on the check-in this morning, and then meeting and boarding flights in the afternoon.  A few delays caused by the weather, and both Edinburgh flights cancelled.  Two flights to Norway, one operated by Widerøe.  Walkies with Sammy, now feet up for the night. 

The Simmer Dim (summer solstice) has arrived, and not much of a summer's day at all.  The longest day has arrived, and we should get 19 hours sunshine here, not that lucky today.  At one point there was sunshine, along with blue skies, but also rain, mist and wind.  Pray for a better day tomorrow, especially for work.  These lambs weren't thinking much of the Simmer Dim either, huddle together from the rain.  Taken at Aith, Cunningsburgh.
