Pie anyone?

The other twenty blackbirds are outside the photo frame. At least we got to enjoy their serenade. The blackbirds were the only entertainment we had. It has rained all day so my blip opportunities were slim. As it is, this photo is terrible. The insert gives you a glimpse of the gloom. At times, wind gusts shook the camper so we stayed inside all day. Thankfully we had plenty of leftovers; cooking was not a concern. Hubby would have been soaked turning on the propane. We have read almost all day with Millie snuggled between us on the couch. From the sound of it, my family is getting rain as well. We all desperately need it. Looks like the rain will be even heavier later this evening and continue for several days. We are actually under a flood advisory. There are several bodies of water on the other side of the trees in the insert. Beginning on Friday, the chance for thunderstorms increases. I know Parker will play games in rain but hopefully the tournament will be cancelled if the chance of lightening exists. More on that as we get closer to the weekend. Wishing you some restful moments this week. Thanks so much for dropping by. Be safe. “The song of thrush and blackbird, joy that falls so gently on the ears to celebrate another day of life and living, flying free.” - John McLeod
