Rehoboth Beach, DE

My son bought a pair of shorts at the Tanger Outlet in Rehoboth Beach; they were way too big for him. Since they were heading home right after the lacrosse tournament, he asked if we would exchange them. It is going to rain the rest of the week, so we decided to go today. The exchange was quick and painless - amazing. We went to checkout the boardwalk next. We are not really beach people so the walk was quick. We did enjoy people watching and window shopping. The wide berm between the boardwalk and the beach wasn’t photogenic but it was there, had to be included. It was so overcast and my photos were colorless. Neither one was worthy of being presented alone. I decided to take photos of flowers we saw along our walk through the town and create a collage. We found a nice Mexican restaurant and the food was great. As we left town, the traffic lines were endless in every direction, typical for beaches in the summer. Farmers will be thankful for the impending rain. They are trying to save their crops with irrigation. Those pivot systems are impressive. We picked up a few grocery/camping items while we were out. The insects are pretty bad here; the grass is rather tall. We will spray a fog on the rug our chairs sit on so we can enjoy being outside. Wish we were in WV though. Our BIL’s truck is acting up and they got stuck in town. We could have really helped them out. Murphy’s Law, as usual. Sending wishes for a carefree day. Thanks for visiting. Stay safe. “Each path has a story to tell, but the boardwalk has got the most interesting ones.” - benextbrand.com
