The Castle Folly

Another visit to Saltram House gardens, Plymouth. This is the Castle Folly, a remarkably well preserved building which dates from the 18th century. The cork tree here seems to mimic the curve of the tulip-shaped window. On the walk through the gardens, from the house to the folly, you can enjoy the cool breeze blowing through the trees. Ideal on a hot day! In another part of the gardens (see extra) you could almost be in a sub-tropical paradise.
