Wednesday: #30DaysWild - Car Park Wild Flowers
Misty start to the day, our little mountain had disappeared - the surrounding landscape ethereal.
Drove to Benllech, as I parked the car it was lovely to see so many wild flowers growing around the edge of the car park:
Creamy flowers of Meadowsweet, yellow Hypericum - which is probably a garden “escapee” rather than “wild”, shocking pink blackberry flowers which are normally white but these are very pretty and the pink clumps of hemp agrimony which will soon be in flower.
There were lots of assorted bees and hover flies around the flowers but it was windy and the insects were restless!
I had an appointment with the audiologist who kindly sorted my ears out again and suggested I visit him every 6 months.
I walked down to Tesco for a few groceries and called in on my friends at the charity shop on the way back to the car. There was light drizzle as I walked which got heavier by the time I’d got to the car - pouring with rain as I drove home, the garden will be very glad of it :-)
MrD had a busy day of deliveries - he hadn’t seen any rain and thought I was winding him up!!
Watched “The Old Guard” this evening on Netflix, a very unusual story - https://youtube.com/watch?v=CZBiZYKSiik&feature=shareb
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
