Cuttings

After a fortnight away the roses were in full bloom. With heave persistent rain forecast I went round the garden cutting the flowers. They filled the kitchen sink.

At least it was not as cold as the (erroneous) BBC weather forecast predicted. I have seen hail in early June but 7oC at the end of the month was too much!
