Brill (on the Hill)

Today we went to the Talk house PH in Stanton St John near Oxford to celebrate Janet & Bob's Golden Wedding Anniversary. It was a small select group of folk & the food was lovely.... just don't ask me about the service ...it was bad.

Carol is Janet's 1st cousin and was bridesmaid at their wedding.

I fired off over 200 shots today not only at the do but also on the journey there & back again. Its quite interesting the results you can achieve when you are travelling in the car at 60mph - incidentally I wasn't driving Carol was which also meant that I could have a little drinky which is unusual when we go out .... anyhow it went down very nicely thankyou !

My blip is a shot taken from the car as we journeyed home & it is of Brill. The quality isn't great but you can just make out the windmill located on Brill Common. The shot is taken travelling along the B4011 towards Oakley & Long Crendon from the direction of Boarstall.

What a gorgeous sunny day it has been today.
