Arranged to meet Laura and her sister at Thornton reservoir with kids bikes. Toby has a scoot bike which he hasn't really grasped so we were quickly left behind as the others whizzed off. Tired and hot trying to push the buggy and help Toby scoot I rang Mr EG to tell him I was throwing the stupid scoot bike in the reservoir and heated words were exchanged. Just because someone on some stupid bike forum has said that scoot bikes are better than stabilisers for learning to ride we have to persevere - no matter that Tobes or me are having NO FUN WHATSOEVER with the stupid thing. I think this is the fourth day out the scoot bike has spoiled so far. I am not allowed to get rid though. Eventually we caught up with the others for a picnic and Tobes cheered up after being left behind and calm was restored. Much fun was had in the playground after lunch and we also fed the ducks. Spent the afternoon playing in the garden. More sunshine please!
