In the Spotlight

I'm feeling much better today, after a decent night's sleep. Thank you for all your kind wishes; I'm not out of the woods yet (when have I ever been out of the woods?) but I'm very much improved today.

Nevertheless, a gentle day. The pond pump and filter got a good cleaning in the morning, and hopefully the dreadful green will slowly diminish and the fish will be able to see their way around the water. Hopefully the heron is busy elsewhere!

In the afternoon, with Janet working in the very front garden, this juvenile robin came out to see what was going on. I tempted it further with a few tasty mealworms, and it stepped into a dappled sunbeam going through the oak tree leaves.

Oh, and I've blogged again. This time about the family tree.
