Good To Be Back ....

.... in Fowey.

Our 10th holiday here, we must like it. We've stayed in this apartment a few times too, we love the view. And the parking space on The Esplanade.

The drive down was OK, just a slight 15 minute hold up by Sedgemoor Services. After leaving the M5 the A30 is a super road, almost takes you to Fowey. It wasn't that easy when we first started coming here.

Once we had settled in we walked down into the town. Dinner in a pub (not that good to be honest) but a couple of pints of Tribute went down well. We managed to catch some live music in another pub before returning to the apartment. There seem to be a lot more places to eat this year, though some of the prices ....

The first extra is a view looking across the river to Ferryside, where Daphne du Maurier once lived. I mainly took this because of the boat called Derek, so we could send it to our good friend of the same name. We did and his wife said she was hoping for a posher yacht than that. The fourth ape in the second extra.
